In addition to the world famous scenic attractions, such as Golden Gate Bridge, Pier 39, Lambert St, Coit Tower, San Francisco has more hidden Beauties in the neighborhood.
The 16th Avenue Tiled Steps
The creative mosaic-tiled Moraga Stairs start at Moraga St & 16th Ave and climb up to 15th Ave. More than 220 neighbors sponsored the hand-made animal, bird, and fish mosaic tiles now embedded on the vertical risers of each step (Ref. 1).

Above the tiled steps located Grandview park, where you can enjoy a beautiful 360 view of San Francisco downtown, Golden Gate Bridge, and Pacific Ocean.

Twin Peaks
The Twin Peaks are two prominent hills with an elevation of about 925 feet (282 m), located near the geographic center of San Francisco City. The North and South Peaks are named Eureka” and “Noe”, respectively. The Spanish conquistadors and settlers also called the area “Los Pechos de la Chola” or “Breasts of the Indian Maiden” (Ref 2). To me, most importantly, twin peaks present a magnificent view of San Francisco. Night view most likely would be even better.
Golden Gate Park
Golden Gate Park is a large urban park consisting of 1,017 acres (412 ha) of public grounds, even 20 percent larger than Central Park in New York, to which it is often compared. It is over three miles (4.8 km) long east to west, and about half a mile (0.8 km) north to south (Ref. 3).
