Panther Beach is a popular sandy beach north of Santa Cruz as shown in the following map.
A unique attraction is called “Hole-In-The-Wall”, an opening in the rock wall on the south end of Panther Beach, through which another hidden beach is accessible at low tide.

If you don’t mind getting your feet wet this route is safe except at highest tides or during extreme surf. In fact, our team lost one and half pairs of shoes in one visit; but it did give us lots of fun and good memories though.
At sunny day, it is totally another scenario: gentle, calm, cozy, like a rocky cradle to a baby.
Tourists may only know the famous attractions; however these small cozy coves might bring you more fun. Enjoy!
